Keep it open

I was in the library the other day and saw this CD in the returns shelf. Ahh… not another old-time crooner, I thought. I couldn’t be bothered. 

Turns out I borrowed it anyhow and am very pleased I did!

I went thru major Patsy Cline, Hank Williams, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole and Ella Fitz stages. They’re all great but after listening and listening and listening, one does get a bit bored of the same old tunes.

So here’s a whole new stock of great, classic vintage tunes and performances. I knew her name. I knew she was good. But I didn’t realize just how good!
