First of all, I would like to say that I am using Dragon voice recognition software. There is a Dragon app for the iPad and I tried it a few years ago but wasn’t terribly impressed. Last night I tried it again and it seems to have been improved… dramatically. I would like to write more articles at earthpages but do not like how long it takes. Hopefully this will improve the situation and enable me to get more material out more often.

Mind you, talking into a microphone is quite different from typing. First of all, one has to speak clearly which can break one’s flow. Second of all, it’s just different. Making sounds is not the same as moving your fingers. But I have been quite mute not only at earthpages but on my personal blog, MichaelWClark.com. So again, hopefully this will rectify the situation.

Oh, and by the way, I am very impressed with this incarnation of Dragon!

  1. iPad 3 onward has its own voice recognition software, which apparently is pretty good. The iPad I use is an older one. It’s not even mine, but was a gift within family members. I don’t know if I would buy Apple or not. It’s a pretty closed system.
