Not sure if this one should be straightened or not… another “just leave it” moment…

  1. It looks magic as is. I think the sense of the time of day is important to the beauty of this. I have seen some professional photos of rainy days, which have been kept very naturalistic and it has made me re-evaluate the extent to which I mess with my nature photography. But of course, it comes down to what you want to express.

  2. Thanks Lee. You’re right about expressing what you want to express. And when you think about it, even before editing, you’re often controlling aperture, ss, etc. to get a look you want. Also, there are internal color settings/options that I fiddled with (after figuring out how) several months ago. So the question comes down to whether or not a photographer’s partic. style speaks to you or not. Does it elevate? Bring you down? Turn you off? This is more what I was getting at. Most heavy-handed photoshopping leaves me cold. But not all. Perhaps, like anything else, it depends in part on skill level, talent, etc. (geez, maybe I’ll write another Phd on this! ) 🙂

What are you thinking?
