This City Never Sleeps – Eurythmics
This is London but I thought it would be a nice way to pay tribute to Poland. Love this old 80s tune… can take it on so many levels…

Thanks for a tribute to one of the most peculiar construction works on Earth. After 25 years, from which parts of the line are in use for almost 10 years already. First stations are designed in the glamour of soviet era meanwhile the last ones in effectiveness of recently collapsed capitalism. I proudly walked through the open gates Saturday evening, keeping my three month all lines ticket in a pocket.
That’s very interesting… I wonder if prestige and practicality will forever be combined, regardless of the market and ideological forces that drive us.
It seems the same thing happens everywhere I look, from municipal governments to universities… all are posturing in fierce competition but at the same time trying to make things work…
Is there a better way?
